07. Detroit, Michigan
“Detroit is making a comeback!” You probably be hearing it for a while now, but it does making a comeback to all its glory. This is the year for this Motor City to welcome the wider swath of visitors. The city along with its natural beauty, art scenery, and cool bars has still plenty to offer. There are some great new hotels to check out like Siren, Shinola, and Element. The visitors will soon be enjoying the riverfront beach, entertainment area, Atwater Beach, Motown Museum and much more. The biggest sign of a revival yet, though, is that Ford just bought and plans to renovate the ruins of Michigan Central Station—itself a symbol of the city’s downfall and now, perhaps, its revival.
