3. Ponte Sant’Angelo
This is one of the most famous bridges in Rome being constructed in AD 136. The aim of this bridge was to connect Rome with its mausoleum, “The Castle Sant’Angelo”. In 1668, one of the most beautiful additions to the bridge happened by sculptor Lorenzo Bernini. He enhanced it by designing 10 angels to adorn its length. Even after all these years, both the bridge and the angels still stand, making it a great sightseeing spot.
