07. Abel Tasman National Park, South Island
The coast track of Abel Tasman National Park is the greatest walk in the country. Winding along sparkling Tasman Bay, from Marahau to Separation Point, this scenic 51-kilometer hike lies in one of the sunniest regions of the South Island. While you are hiking, you can enjoy many other activities like snorkeling in secluded coves, spotting fur seals, dolphin penguins, and a diverse range of birds.
