7. Prambanan, Indonesia
It’s a Hindu temple that was built in 10th century. The purpose of the temple was to show the dominance of Hindu religion in the area. There are three high buildings and each for the three gods called, Vishnu, Shiva, and Brahma. The building is about 47 meters high and depict the amazing architecture of construction. It’s further surrounded by 250 smaller shrines and which are decorated with precious stones and natural ornaments. The building faces East direction as it’s the sacred side in Hinduism. Moreover, the sacred holy book called ‘Ramayana’ is also present inside the temple.
