07. Jet d’Eau
This fountain is located in Geneva, Switzerland. Although Switzerland is full of tourist attractions but this one is also included to be a must visit site. It is one of the highest fountains in the world. This fountain is pretty historical as it was inaugurated in 1891. Its construction budget is unknown but its maintenance budget is $800,000 annually. The Jet d’Eau is now a symbol of the city; five hundred liters of the lake water per second are jetted to an altitude of 140 meters at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour.
