08. Zugspitze, Germany
Zugspitze is Germany’s highest mountain rising up to 2962 meters. There are many beautiful towns on its foot so that makes the skiing even more great. From its summit, which can now be accessed by a new cable car, extends a 360-degree panorama that reaches as far as 250 kilometers and includes mountain peaks in four countries. You can also ski the glacier from its top some 2700 meters above sea level. This area offers 40 km of ski trails interlinking three mountains. It is also used for International Alpine Skiing Championships. The ice stadium that was used for 1936 winter games is now open for public.
