07. Madrid Atocha, Spain
It is the largest railway station in Spain. Having built in 1851, this is named after a nearby church and dedicated to Our Lady of Atocha. You can even take your eyes of its façade but its inner beauty is watchable. The station has a unique jungle garden in it as well. The garden here has almost 500 species of flora and fauna including carnivorous plants, rare turtles and animals. This station had faced terrorism in 2004 when the commuter trains were bombed killing 191 people. There is a memorial in the memory of those died in the terrorist attack.
