04. The Arc de Triomphe
This has been the center for tourists’ attractions in Paris. It is also one of the most visited places of the city. If you want to go there, you will find it on the western end of the Champs-Elysees at the center of Place Charles de Gaulle. This iconic landmark is 50 meters high so it provides a magnificent view of Paris. This place was built by Napoleon to recall his victory at the Battle of Austerlitz. It is a symbol to honor those who fought and died for France. The names of all French victories and generals are inscribed on its surfaces.
